DeWolff Announce London Show Tuesday 15th May 2018 The Black Heart, London

Psychedelic trio DeWolff will be releasing their new album ‘THRUST’ on 4th May via Mascot Records and to celebrate this they will be playing a special show at The Black Heart, London on Tuesday 15th May, support comes from London rockers The Dust Coda. Ahead of this they have revealed the new video for ‘Big Talk’.

Talking about the new video for ‘Big Talk’ the band say; “Every second you live there is a fork in the river where you can just follow the stream, do what other people expect you to do, think what other people tell you to think… or you can take control and live the best life you can live,” say the band. “For yourself, for other people, for the world. Don’t let anger control you and don’t let lies corrupt the kindness and innocence with which we’re all born. Don’t let the Big Talk kill ya, like the guy in the video.”

“We came up with the idea of a man who swallows everything that’s being put in front of him,” they continue. “Director / DOP Christiaan Kanis took our idea to the next level and using a RED camera (Stranger Things was shot with this camera) he created an intense and beautiful yet horrifying cinematic experience. The actor you see is our friend Mitch Rivers, an amazing songwriter and musician himself. The result is definitely the most incredible music video we’ve ever released.”

We will be chatting with the band closer to the gig. (more…)

Hart has had an incredible career, beginning with the release of a fistful of hit albums through the ’90s, then reigniting in the post-millennium as both a solo artist and the head-turning vocalist for guitar heroes like Joe Bonamassa, Slash and long-time collaborator Jeff Beck. But it’s in recent times that Beth has truly blossomed, selling out ever-larger venues in cities around the world, including New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Amsterdam, and Copenhagen. She is recognized as one of the great live vocalists of our time, with a voice “reminiscent of Etta James and Janis Joplin” (Music Connection), topping Billboard’s Blues Album Chart and receiving numerous GRAMMY and Blues Music Awards nominations. Dubbed “the ultimate female rock star” by The Blues Magazine, the Guardian has praised her “daring, brooding performances” and The Times has called her “Extraordinary.”
